Support our work to create a resilient regional food system.

Your donation will help bring local food to institutions, increase food access, make Cincinnati friendlier to urban agriculture, reduce food waste, support regional farms, and more!

Since the Greater Cincinnati Regional Food Policy Council was founded in 2015, we've built a coalition of partners across the region to work collaboratively on addressing the needs of our food system. Together we've developed strategies and plans for creating a resilient food system that is healthy for people, healthy for communities and healthy for our environment.

We believe in a future where all residents have access to healthy food, where our region's producers have a strong local economy supporting them, and where our institutions serve as anchors for health.

If you believe in this vision, please make an investment in the future of our food system with a donation today.

"We believe in a future where all residents have access to healthy food, where our region's producers have a strong local economy supporting them, and where our institutions serve as anchors for health."

In Cincinnati, 3 in 10 adults are food insecure, 46% of the population live in areas with limited access to healthy and nutritious food, and 72% of those with limited supermarket access live in low-income neighborhoods.

Because the need is so great, we recognize the importance of approaching this work in many venues - in schools, hospitals, farmers markets, social service agencies, places of employment and neighborhood organizations.

We are working to transform these local institutions into anchors of health that invest their buying power into local economies, adopt sustainable practices, incentivize employees to purchase local foods and align their messaging around shared local foods priorities.

Since the Greater Cincinnati Regional Food Policy Council launched, dozens of institutional partners are sourcing local food and our region's two local food hubs have made over $1.5 million in sales.

We know that together we can make a bigger impact and achieve enduring transformations in the health of our communities. Please make a gift today that is meaningful to you, whether $5 or $5000, to support this incredibly important work.

Thank you for your support!
